Backing Up Blizzard Games
Let's say you get a new hard drive, computer, or operating system, and you want to install your Blizzard games on your new setup. You can actually copy your game directories to another storage device, such as an external hard drive.
This is great news since WoW, HS, SC2, and D3 take up a combined space of 55GB! Then, you only need to copy the files back to your new location.
Once you open your Battle.net desktop app, point the app to the location of the games if it hasn't already automatically detected them. The games will then be counted as "installed."
You shouldn't have to download much more data, if anything at all.
